Cleanroom polyester socks are another type of specialized footwear designed for use in cleanroom environments. Unlike disposable socks, these socks can be laundered and reused multiple times while still maintaining their cleanliness and effectiveness. These polyester socks are made from 100% Polyester which gives high strength and good wear resistance. It even provides better heat resistance than nylon socks.
This polyester socks are compatible to be used in cleanrooms. It has been tested for particulate levels using the modified Helmke Drum method described in the standard IEST-RP-CC003.4 (Garment System Considerations for Cleanrooms and Other Controlled Environments) and has low particle release compared to regular socks.
It is important to regularly inspect reusable cleanroom polyester socks for any signs of wear, damage, or degradation. Replace socks that show signs of excessive wear or compromise to maintain their effectiveness and prevent potential contamination risks.
